Linghua Zhang

Dr. Linghua Zhang is a lecturer at the School of International Studies and the Collaborative Innovation Center for Security and Development of Western Frontier China at Sichuan University. She has been in this position since October 2015. Dr. Zhang holds a Doctorate in Geography from Nanjing University, where she pursued full-time education from September 2011 to September 2015. Her research integrates geography, sociology, economics, and management, with a particular focus on the spatial distribution and service pathways of China’s ethnic minority populations, as well as the spatial characteristics and economic service pathways of these communities. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Zhang has gained experience working with institutions such as ICIMOD and the Himalayan University Consortium (HUC). Since October 2018, she has also been affiliated with the Postdoctoral Research Mobile Station of Public Management at Sichuan University.
